Head of AML/CFT and Sanctions | Financial Crimes Compliance, The Commercial Bank (P.S.Q.C)Shahid is currently leading the Commercial Bank’s AML/CFT and Sanctions Compliance programme as the Group Head of AML/CFT and Sanctions Compliance Unit and he is also serving the role of Bank Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO). He is a highly qualified and seasoned AML/CFT and Sanctions Compliance Professional with 16 years hands-on experience and key competencies in designing, implementing, monitoring and testing AML/CFT/CPF and Sanctions Compliance Programme for Financial Institutions e.g. Banks, Insurance Intermediaries and Investment Management Companies. -
Sreejith Geetha
Sanctions and Crisis Manager, Qatar AirwaysMr. Sreejith Geetha currently holds the position of Sanctions and Crisis Manager at Qatar Airways, where he is responsible for overseeing global compliance within Qatar Airways Cargo concerning sanctions and export control regulations. His role includes the investigation of incidents, ensuring adherence to international sanctions, and managing the compliance of dual-use goods transportation. Additionally, Mr. Sreejith plays a pivotal role in crisis management and business continuity planning, demonstrating his commitment to upholding regulatory standards.
He commenced his professional journey with Qatar Airways in 2017 after serving in a key role at Etihad Airways. With over 18 years of extensive experience in aviation cargo compliance, Mr. Sreejith has actively participated in numerous global initiatives throughout his career. -

Compliance Officer & MLRO, Al Zaman Exchange W.L.L.Saiful is a qualified Compliance Officer with over a decade of experience in the exchange house industry. He is highly skilled in designing, implementing, monitoring, and testing Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), Countering the Proliferation of Financing (CPF), and Sanctions Compliance Programs. Saiful holds a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) qualification and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). He is currently serving as the Head of Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) at Al Zaman Exchange W.L.L, Qatar. -
Stephen Evans
Subject Matter Expert, AML/CFT Supervision, Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory AuthorityStephen has over 37 years’ experience in compliance supervision, financial crime, and enforcement. Stephen currently works at the QFC Regulatory Authority as the AML/CFT Subject Matter Expert providing technical advice and guidance. Prior to this position, Stephen was the Director of AML/CFT Supervision at the QFC Regulatory Authority. Stephen also worked for four years with Qatar’s National Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Committee (NAMLC) in the preparation for FATFs mutual evaluation of Qatar.
Previously Stephen has worked with AUSTRAC (Australia’s FIU), ASIC (Australia’s corporate regulator) and as a Police Officer and Detective.
Stephen holds several degrees including a Master of Laws in Corporate Governance an Executive MBA, Graduate Certificate in Management, a Bachelor of Policing (Investigations) and an International Diploma in AML/CFT. Stephen also holds a CAMS certification in AML/CFT with ACAMS. -

With more than nine years of experience working in financial services, technology, compliance risk and strategy consulting, Bell applies his extensive project management expertise and experience towards driving business profitability and maintaining effective organic growth.
Bell began his career working with top global financial institutions focusing on horizontal functions including risk, compliance and technology. Following four years of consulting, he went on to work for London Stock Exchange Group (Refinitiv), where his most recent role was as head of business operations and strategy for the risk division.
